Refraction Media is an exciting startup with directors who bring 30+ years of experience to the table, and a prestigious client base of universities, science organisations and government departments.

As custom publishers and content producers specialising in STEM, Refraction Media has carved out a unique position in the sector.  Areas of expertise include career guides, industry magazines, study guides, posters, apps, videos and more.

‘Refraction is a highly regarded publisher that specialises in content concerning science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). With so many connections to the STEM community, working for Refraction enabled me to write about some of Australia’s most exciting innovators. As a student journalist, I was given the invaluable opportunity to interview and write about highly regarded scientists and researchers.’ – Kara Norton, New York University, Refraction intern

‘Coming into the internship I had only written one article, which was for Fitness First Magazine. By the end of my internship I had written three articles for the Science Meets Business website and three articles for Refractions’ careers magazines. My internship has enhanced my writing and interviewing skills, and given me more familiarity with WordPress and InDesign. I aim to keep collaborating with the team at Refraction while I continue to develop my own media projects.’ – Guy Fenton, Refraction intern
